On Tuesday ( July 26th 2022) , Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the flood-affected villages in the Ambedkar Konaseema district and gave his pen to a young boy. He observed a mother holding an eight-month-old boy in the Pedapudilanka village while he was there and scooped him up.

While Jagan Mohan Reddy was holding Nakka Vijaya Chaitanya and listening to the crowd, the youngster took the pen out of the chief minister’s pocket. It fell to the ground when the child was unable to grip it.

The mother of the youngster retrieved the pen and gave it back to Jagan Mohan Reddy. With a smile, Jagan Mohan Reddy gave the youngster his pen and wished him well in school when he grew older. Others in the hamlet applauded the chief minister’s generosity as the woman sobbed as she got her child and the pen back from him. Later, Jagan Mohan Reddy got a complaint from a villager who said that after her husband became ill, she was struggling to care for the family. The woman was appointed as a village volunteer on the chief minister’s instruction to the district collector.

The district officials prepared the appointment letter Jagan Mohan Reddy gave to the woman before the chief minister left the hamlet.

The chief minister also met a mentally handicapped guy, Matha Sathyannarayana in the same village. The chief minister instructed the staff to give him greater medical attention and give his family some financial assistance.
