It is the first project Vijay and Ananya have worked on with a director and actor from the South Indian film industry to have a pan-Indian release. Before the film’s release, the songs and trailer created a tonne of buzz, and on August 25 when the movie finally enters theatres, all eyes will be on you. How has the movie performed, then? Let’s investigate.
There is a new review of Liger! How impressive is the film?
The moviegoers have been talking a lot lately about Liger. Vijay, who is best known for playing Arjun Reddy, has ventured into entirely uncharted ground with the upcoming feature film. Fans will see him in a different avatar as he dances and performs the action in his role as the leading man in a commercial mass entertainer. The fans have also praised his bodily modification for the part.
Umair Sandhu, a film reviewer residing in Dubai, recently posted his assessment of Liger on Twitter. Liger was dubbed a “one-man show” by Umair. Regarding the film, he tweeted, “Citii Maar Mass Entertainer is #Liger. One Man Show #VijayDeverakonda. He completely stole the show. Wonderful direction, action, and stunts. Amya Krishna is a pleasant surprise.” He did, however, add that the movie’s plot and script are “average.”
Umair claimed in another tweet that Puri Jagannadh’s direction of Liger is “typical” and reminiscent of his prior movies. He also added, “For the benefit of those who are enquiring, #Liger is a respectable action mass entertainer with typical #PuriJagannadh style direction. Ramya Krishna and Vijay Deverakonda Excellent performances. The traditional “Old Wine in a New Bottle” story and screenplay. But I did enjoy this Saga.”
