The filming of Ram Charan and renowned director Shankar’s newest project resumed last Friday in Amritsar after more than a month’s pause. The current timetable is an extension of the April plan, which had to be halted beyond a certain point since the unit was unable to secure the required clearances to film in Shankar’s chosen locales.
We recently discovered that Shankar is currently recording a college song at Khalsa and Gurunanak Universities. “400 background dancers are working on the shoot with Charan. It is produced on a grand scale, as is typical of Shankar’s songs. It is being supervised by renowned Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya. It will be filmed in Amritsar today and tomorrow, with some of it perhaps being filmed in Visakhapatnam later. The unit will start filming in Hyderabad where large sets are being created under the supervision of Ravinder Reddy once the current expedition, which doesn’t require Kiara Advani, ends tomorrow, according to a source close to the unit.
The insider went on to say that SJ Suryah, who would portray a grey character in the movie, visited Shankar over the weekend to get his look tested for the job. After the test, he left right away. He will participate in the filming in Hyderabad.
In #RC15, a political drama from Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, Charan plays an upright IAS officer who seeks to end corruption in society and revitalise the political system.
