According to Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has increased medical education in the state by approving 16 new medical institutions even as plans are afoot to open 13 more.

Only five government medical colleges had been founded in the area before the state was created in 2014, according to Rama Rao, the Chief Minister’s son.

Honorable Telangana Chief Minister KCR Garu has a history of writing about medical education. In Telangana, only 5 government medical colleges had been established before 2014. One medical college has been sanctioned and will be established in each district during the past eight years, he tweeted.

He added that medical colleges are also close to completion at Sangareddy, Mahabubabad, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Ramagundam, and Jagtial, and that the college in Kothagudem will soon be opened.

The TRS leader continued by tweeting “Now, let me tell you how many medical colleges our PM Modi Ji sanctioned to Telangana,” while flashing the number “0.”
